This guide explains how to delete a group from eADM deleting it from the connected target systems, such as a local Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD.
It is essential to follow this procedure to ensure that groups are only unlinked from eADM not permanently removed from your organization's directory services.
Warning: If you delete a group from the source data before deleting its anchor, the group will also be deleted from the target system (e.g., Active Directory) during the next synchronization.
Procedure
Follow these steps to safely remove a group from eADM keeping it in the target system:

In eADM, go to Groups.

Search for and select the group you want to remove.

Go to the Anchors tab.

Locate the anchor entry and click the delete icon (trash can) to remove it.
Note: Do not click "Restore Group" (Restore group).

Next, go to Groups > Source Data for Manual Groups.

Search for the same group and delete it from this view.
Once these steps are completed, the group will be removed from eADM the next synchronization cycle but will remain unchanged in your AD or Azure AD.
