Simployer

Simployer is a Norwegian company that provides software and services for HR and personnel administration. They offer digital tools to streamline HR tasks such as payroll, recruitment, and personnel management. Simployer’s goal is to simplify HR work for managers, HR staff, and employees.

The access management system can receive both personnel and organizational data from Simployer.



Pre-configuration

Before you can begin the integration process, you must complete the following preparatory steps.

To use the “new” HR Connect API:

  1. Follow the instructions here: https://dev.simployer.com/support/solutions/articles/201000118220 to set up your API credentials.

  2. In the guide, be sure to set up access to HR Connect. Also include access to the Handbooks API if eADM manage access to the handbook modules.

  3. Send the API keys securely to your eADM .

  4. Configure Department Numbers. You must review the organizational hierarchy in Simployer and assign a department number to each entry.


To use the legacy API:

  1. Set up an integration user in your Simployer instance.
    Please follow the instructions in the Simployer document:Creating an Integration User.pdf. Once created, send the username and password to us at Identum.

  2. Request API keys by sending an email to konsulent-support@simployer.com. In the email, provide the username for the integration user you just created.

  3. Please send the API keys to us at Identum. Once we have received the keys, we can begin the process of adding Simployer as a source system for your instance.

  4. Configure Department Numbers. You must review the organizational hierarchy in Simployer and assign a department number to each entry.


Warning: All department numbers must be unique. You cannot use the same number for more than one department or organizational unit.
