Rulesets are a powerful tool for creating specific user selections, but building complex rules can be challenging. To simplify this process, a Ruleset Wizard is available to help you generate rules for many common scenarios.
How to Access the Wizard
You can find and open the wizard in the bottom-right corner of the screen when you create or edit a ruleset.
How to Create a Ruleset
The wizard guides you through creating a complete set of rules.
-
Launch the wizard to get started.
-
Follow the prompts to define the main criteria for selecting users.
-
Add any necessary exceptions to exclude specific users or conditions from the rule.
-
Click Finish, and the system will automatically generate the corresponding ruleset.
Advanced Usage: Combining Rules
For more complex scenarios, you can run the wizard multiple times on the same ruleset. This allows you to combine different selections or events into a single, more advanced rule.
Note: For example, you could first run the wizard to select all users in the "Health and Care" department. Then, you could run it again to add a condition that sends a notification whenever a user within that selection changes their job title.
